My name’s Hannah. I’m from Ohio, but currently studying and living in England. And I’m 20.
How long have you been in the Glee fandom?
My first episode was the Rocky Horror Glee Show. I got involved with the fandom after the winter hiatus (so between the Christmas episode and the Superbowl episode).
What do you ship?
Klaine is my OTP. I enjoy Tike, Luck/Pizes, and Barole but I don’t have much of an emotional attachment to those pairings. You can also check out my ships page.
Why do you ship Klaine?
Klaine is such a beautiful pairing. Sometimes it’s hard for me to articulate just how much they mean to me.
They’re one of the few couples I actually believe in. I see their future, and I think they can make it work past high school. They have that special dynamic. Their love seems very, very real to me. I don’t think Kurt is Blaine’s high school sweetheart, and vice versa. They’re the real deal.
It’s true that many relationships don’t last past high school, but I think Klaine is the exception. Think of everything Kurt and Blaine have been through - individually, and as a unit. Their lives haven’t been easy. They were forced to grow up and mature long before they were ready. But there are some benefits that go along with that. They handle the ups and downs of their relationship far better than any other couple on the show. They’re honest. They’re passionate. They know what it means to love someone as fiercely as they love each other and they don’t take it for granted. That, essentially, is why I ship Klaine.
Who are your favorite Glee characters?
Kurt and Blaine are at the top. Followed by Santana, Rachel, Lauren, Sugar, and Beiste (in no particular order).
Who are your least favorite Glee characters?
I’m of the opinion every character has something interesting to bring to the table. But I tend to dislike characters like Jacob, Sandy, and Azimio. Then, there are characters like Will and Dave Karofsky who I also dislike but that’s on a different level, you know what I mean? Will and Karofsky are fleshed out in comparison to Jacob (even if they’re not fleshed out in a good way).
Do you multi-ship?
Not with Kurt and Blaine, no.
If you don’t multi-ship, why do I see graphics of Kurt and Blaine with other people on your blog?
I’m easily seduced by graphics. That’s why you’ll see Faberry from time to time.
What’s your opinion on Kurtofsky/a Klainofsky love triangle?
I’m against it. I think they handled the bullying storyline terribly to the point it became sexual harassment (the cake-topper scene). I’m just very uncomfortable with the idea of Kurtofsky, and I think any love triangle would be COMPLETELY one sided. I don’t see Kurt ever falling for Karofsky. Until “Heart,” I didn’t even think Karofsky had a crush on Kurt. Still angry they went there.
Kurt or Blaine?
I love them both equally and don’t favor one over the other. I talk about Blaine a lot because he’s still a relatively new character, and I feel closer to Kurt because he’s been around longer. But they’re both equals and they both have their flaws. I’d say that I relate to Blaine more, though.
Chris or Darren?
Again, not even a competition for me. I love them both. I tend to be more interested in what Chris is up to in his personal life and professionally, though. I didn’t know who Darren was before Glee, so I’m unfamiliar with Starkid, his solo work, etc. I don’t really plan on familiarizing myself with it, either. Still - both of their careers are relatively new and/or blossoming so it’s exciting to watch them grow. I’m just more interested in the type of work Chris is doing (like writing).
What’s your take on RPS/RPF?
I like it. But it’s 100% fun. I don’t really think anyone in the cast is together.
I don’t think it’s acceptable to send the actors links to manips or fic. Or ask them about their relationships with other cast members online, in person, etc. Anything related to shipping REAL people needs to stay within the fandom. Otherwise, it’s just embarrassing and awkward for everyone.
Are you a spoiler-free blog?
Nope. I’ll always try to keep big news behind cuts, though. Remember when the winners of Prom Queen and King were leaked? That’s the type of stuff I won’t openly talk about. My general rule of thumb is this: if everyone else is talking about it out in the open, I probably will too.
